well another brilliant day at work today.
Spent all day taking some rims off 2 new 994 (huge wheel loader) diffs. Well atleast attempting to take them off, the wheel nuts were only spost to be rattled on, not real tight or anything (torqued up they are about 2500-3500ftlbs!!!)went through a 1/2 rattle gun to start with, moved onto a 3/4 gun, no luck still. By this time it had blown out to lunch time. Then moved onto 1" drive rattle gun and still no luck. In the end had to get the air norbar to to the job. Turns out they were at about 1500ftlbs. Right on the end of the norbars capability, atleat we didnt have to move onto a hytorque tho. Those things are dangerous. Now i got work till atleast thursday i think :-D
Also got caught leaving on time today. Least I had a genuine excuse, went for a Chest X-Ray. Had a cough now for 4 or so months, been on antibiotics twice and still no improvement. So hopefully i got somthing that will take me off work for atleast a week lol.
oh and more on the stabbing on the weekend. Pete was the least hurt apparently. Got away with only a perforated liver. other 3 are in intensive care. He comes back to work next week apparently so more info then.
